You ever hear that saying:“If you want to get something done, give it to the laziest person because they'll find the easiest way to do it?”Reminds me of a chat I had with my Mentor. He told me, “If you want to be rich, be lazy. If you want to be truly wealthy, be incompetent.”Sounds crazy, right? But dive deeper. Imagine owning a roofing business. Your main roofer quits. Do you climb up and do the job? f*ck no. That's the trap skilled entrepreneurs like me fall into. Most likely you decided to start a business because you acquired a high value skill to monetize. Which means you actually know how to operate all of your processes to get your clients a transformational result. But now you become the bottleneck of the business and you’re trading your time for money instead of collecting profits. If you're truly a business owner that’s running the show, you let your team handle it. Delegate, oversee, and trust. That's the difference between just operating a business and truly owning one.
